Stylized version of Disney's Riviera Resort

Disney’s Riviera Resort is one of the newest additions to the Walt Disney World lineup, and also one of the most popular. Inspired by Walt’s travels through Europe, this resort blends luxury, elegance, and modern convenience with a distinctly Disney twist.

Riviera Resort is a Deluxe Disney Vacation Club resort, but anyone can book a room here. If you’re looking for deluxe-level dining, Skyliner access, and top-tier amenities without the crowds of the Magic Kingdom resorts, Riviera might be just what you’re after.

Where Is Riviera Resort at Disney?

Disney’s Riviera Resort is located in the EPCOT resort area, adjacent to Caribbean Beach Resort. It sits directly on the Disney Skyliner route, making transportation a breeze to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

What Restaurants Are at Disney’s Riviera Resort?

Riviera punches well above its weight in the dining department. Although the resort is more compact than other Disney deluxe hotels, it does have some well-rounded options, including:

Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera

  • Signature rooftop dining with views of EPCOT and Hollywood Studios
  • Serves character breakfast featuring Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, and Donald
  • Dinner includes upscale French and Italian dishes

Le Petit Café

  • Charming lobby café serving pastries, espresso drinks, and cocktails
  • Lounge-style seating, perfect for unwinding in the evenings

Primo Piatto

  • Quick-service location offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Known for its croissant sandwich in the morning and flatbreads later in the day

Bar Riva

  • Open-air poolside bar with Mediterranean-inspired bites and drinks
  • Stylish setting with shaded seating near the Riviera Pool

Riviera Resort Rooms

Riviera Resort offers several room options, including some of the smallest rooms on Walt Disney World property. Though there are more spacious options with multiple bedrooms.

Room types include:

  • Tower Studio (sleeps 2)
  • Deluxe Studio (sleeps up to 5)
  • 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom villas
  • 3-bedroom Grand Villa (sleeps up to 12)

All rooms include:

  • Smart TVs, USB ports, and modern furniture
  • Kitchenette (studio) or full kitchen (villa)
  • Balcony or patio

Tower Studios are unique to Riviera; they’re compact but ideal for couples or solo travelers wanting a deluxe experience on a smaller footprint.

How Much is Riviera Resort?

Riviera Resort is very expensive, and you can expect to pay:

  • Around $450–$700 per night for standard deluxe studios
  • Higher for 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom villas
  • Tower Studios (designed for 2 guests only) can start at $400 per night

Prices vary based on season and room type, but Riviera is firmly in the Deluxe category.

How Many Rooms Are at Riviera Resort?

Riviera Resort has around 300 rooms, which keeps the vibe quiet and sophisticated compared to larger Disney hotels. It’s one of the most intimate Deluxe resorts.

Riviera Resort Pools

Riviera Resort has two pool areas. While that is significantly less than some of the more sprawling deluxe resorts, these certainly get the job done.

Riviera Pool

  • Leisurely family pool with fountains and tropical landscaping
  • Adjacent to Bar Riva and plenty of lounge seating

Beau Soleil Pool

  • Quieter adult-friendly pool tucked away from the hustle and bustle
  • Great for a midday break or early evening wind-down

There’s also a splash pad for kids themed to Fantasia.

Comparisons

Riviera Resort Vs Caribbean Beach Resort

Caribbean Beach is more affordable and family-oriented. Riviera offers deluxe amenities, signature dining, and quieter spaces. The two resorts are adjacent to each other, but they are strikingly different. Personally, I would save the extra money you would spend at Riviera and use it for dining or Lightning Lanes.

Riviera Resort Vs Grand Floridian

Grand Floridian is closer to Magic Kingdom and more traditional in style. Both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT are accessible from the Grand Floridian via the monorail. Riviera is sleek, European-inspired, and offers faster transit to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios via Skyliner.

Riviera Resort Vs. Art of Animation/Pop Century

Art of Animation and Pop Century are budget-friendly with playful theming. Riviera is quiet, upscale, and better suited to guests who prioritize dining, design, and comfort.

A custom map for your site is in development, but in the meantime, check out the interactive resort map on Disney’s website to view room layouts, pool locations, and the Skyliner station.
